Return of the Duelist Full Set Review 3

Today we go from the Madolce to the Geargia monsters 10 total. Personally I love the Madolce's, their art, their effects, their cuteness, everything... just too awesome. Well anyway Puddincess gives 0 fucks about your game. BTW this is gonna be 2 hours late sorry 10 PM EST is the earliest I could finish it too much fun on DN.

Madolce Mille-Feuille

When this card is destroyed by your opponent and sent to the Graveyard, return it to your deck. When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Madolce" Monster from your hand.

REVIEW: A major player in the deck, I have won many duels because of his ability to summon Puddingcess for free without filling the graveyard with a monster. He with the Chateau becomes a respectible 1000 beater that acts as a psuedo Black Ptera... 1000 is a small number but it is nothing to laugh at. He's searchable by Majoleine and is one of the most important cards in the deck. Remember with Chateau he and Puddingcess become a combo that always comes out... I've been misplaying in my duels recently because I forget that when I ram my Puddincess into something she should go back to hand or deck everytime... sigh fail... This card along with Puddincess becomes a never ending stream of 1 for up to 3 destruction... if they both die they return to hand meaning your opponent truthfully never got rid of anything making any attempt at killing them a minus inherently unless banished or sent to the graveyard. I love these cards and will be trading out the butt for a playset when they hit TCGland in like July until then ah well I'll keep using em on DN. This card out of the Madolce is one of the least splashable.

When this card is destroyed by your opponent and sent to the Graveyard, return it to your deck. Once per turn, you can activate this effect by selecting 1 face-up Attack Position "Madolce" Monster you control, and 1 face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls. Change the 2 selected monster to face-up Defense Position, and until the end of your opponent's next turn, the selected monster cannot change their Battle Positions.

REVIEW: Once again one of the best Madolce in the deck and one of the more splashable ones... First off it can seal a monster off from attacking for a turn by putting itself into Defense... and with Chateau when it dies it can keep the lock going essentially permanently keeping one monster from moving forever. It's most use though comes from Mille-Feuille who is also a Level 3 Beast and he can special summon Meeple who can then swap something nasty like Blade Armor Ninja to defense where he is vulnerable... Overlay with Mille-Feuille to Zenmaines and run over the Blade Armor... it cost you two cards from hand... you killed a monster and made a monster... so a 2 for 2 overall exchange but that exchange will invariably cost your opponent more to kill it than you paid to put it out there. This also with Chateau is a 2300 wall which can cause an opponent problems. Also being Earth gives it a special Niche with an Xyz that will be reviewed soon. Essentially the Xyz is called Ginrei no Kyoshin or Giant God of the Snow-Capped Mountain... though its probably just Snowpeak Giant and that's also easier to remember so I'll use that. Anyway it's the first time one can actually truly plus off of this combo... Mille-Feuille to Meeple>Any monster with under 1800 DEF to defense mode... Overlay for Snowpeak Giant... detach Meeple to stop their face-down from going off... swing in over the monster... effect activates special Meeple in face-up Defense... hey suddenly you can do more nonsense next turn using the Meeple even another Xyz could be devastating like Zenmaines.

When this card is destroyed by your opponent and sent to the Graveyard, return it to your deck. Also, while this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot select "Madolce" Monster other than "Madolce Chouvalier" as attack target.

REVIEW: With Chateau he becomes a marauding captain that must be attacked over every other Madolce... and then the Chateau puts him right back to hand... meaning at 2200 an opponent must have a beater over 2200 to even get an attack in. Being EARTH is also a boon thanks to the above two monsters MX-Saber Invoker is quite useful in making big Xyz swings. Control a Majoleine from a turn before... Mille-Feuille>Meeple>MX-Saber Invoker>Chouxvalier>Rank 4 Xyz summon GO!!. He is also the single biggest beater Madolce have under Chateau that isn't a double boosted Puddingcess, the best boss monster of all time. Not to mention I'm not gay but very cute artwork lol. Watching anime does that to you lol. Regardless this is the best archetype of all time. Watts used to be the cute king with Charmers the Queen but these usurped that spot faster than Geargia which reserve a solid 4th place finish. So now it goes Madolce>>>>Charmers>>>>Watts>>>>Geargia. If it said other than "this card" you'd have a Madolce attack lock with two of him but thats fine.

When this card is destroyed by your opponent and sent to the Graveyard, return it to your deck. When this card is successfully Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, you can add 1 "Madolce" Monster from your Deck to your Hand.

REVIEW: Broken... if it worked when special summoned it'd be better than Stratos and Madolce would be broken... it does though work when Flip Summoned which is nice in a way. This cards main draw is that it is a 3 card engine... 3 of herself... thats the engine... one can simply build a deck with 3 monsters all of which being her... she is essentially a gadget that can search herself... Though Chateau makes every single Madolce a 2 card engine... She's also one of the few spellcasters that replace themselves so you can use her as costs for cards like Wonder Wand or Magical Dimension or Arcane Barrier. Even if not used for her infinite presence she can still pack a punch... with Chateau she can ram into Rai-Oh every time one hits the field... She won't get to search but oh well Chateaus on field she won't need too. Ultimate Offering and her is much like Gadgets with offering but smaller in scale... She grabs herself who grabs herself who grabs herself who grabs butlerusk... who grabs Chateau... 1900+1900+1900+2000 thats 300 damage away from gg... it's also the only way to easily make Alchemic Magician. It also makes Chaos Number 32 Shark Drake Vice of which we know very little aside from its name. To make that Madolce Offering play gg one can actually just tribute one Majoleine for Puddincess before playing Chateau... meaning Majoleine, Offering, and Puddincess makes exactly 8100 damage. This can also translate into two Xyz summons instead if the opponent has a field and you can spare not murdering them that turn. There are just a ton of things one can do with Madolce thanks to Majoleine... now all we need is a way to make her truly powerful... Still searching any Madolce monster including herself is extremely powerful and can change the way this extremely cute card should be used to an optimal state.

REVIEW: The least useful Madolce that has the most utility outside of pure Madolce... Still cute and awesome at the same time... 2000 beater with Chateau that searches Chateau as well... needing to be normal summoned while another Madolce is on field for the search though makes it quite slower than Terraforming but it can also search any Field Spell and be searched by Majoleine... its also a Spellcaster so can help search out things like Secret Village or Black Garden. 3 Majoleine and 1 of him can be a nice Engine for a Black Garden build as evidenced by Valafar123's testing. This card should definitely be ran in Madolce but I wouldn't run it as more than a 1 of due to its niche use and searchability. I personally run 1 of him and 2 Terraforming for my Chateau's which is a major key to Madolce and a sure-fire weakness of theirs. His usefulness is mostly attached to his effect and stats... Earth Level 4 and Spellcaster is quite useful now. Especially for Xyz summoning.

NEXT CARD: (Technically is Purin and not Puddin but think about it... Purincess becomes Princess which would kill the entire point of the pun so the translators opted to go for Puddincess to keep the intergrity)

When this card is destroyed by your opponent and sent to the Graveyard, return it to your deck. If there are no monster in your Graveyard, this card gains 800 ATK and DEF. When this card battles your opponent's monster, after damage calculation you can select 1 card your opponent controls and destroy it.

REVIEW: This is the first time the big boss of the archetype is one of the weakest attackers in the Archetype until you notice its purpose... This card is D.D. Warrior Lady that can destroy any card on the field without having to actually die itself... Meaning... Chateau plus having no Madolce in grave... Mille-Feuille>Puddincess becomes you get a 2300 beater that if it attacks and battle anything it gets to kill something for free and then return to the safety of the hand if destroyed... stupid... stupid... If it does get to kill something... I fear for the opponent... Puddincess runs over a monster... kills either another monster or a backrow for free... Mille-Feuille gets a free attack in directly. Safe Zone also makes her a god among monsters... she can freely run into anything and for a few lifepoints destroy anything in the game. Gagagashield would have been better but she's sadly not a Spellcaster. Being a Fairy doesn't have many perks when you aren't LIGHT but she's Level 5 which can enable Rank 5 Xyz Summons... though she is more important than to be used for such shenanigans. Besides TOOOO CUUUUUTE!!!!!! Essentially if you attack her you will for sure lose a card... no matter what... like Zenmaines but with Chateau she not only kills something but running over a monster in battle actually becomes a minus for the first time ever. Madolce essentially sit there and grind out advantage over the course of a long duel eventually being the only side with a hand thanks to Chateau... oh you Dark Holed... I get back both Mille-Feuille, and Puddincess along with anything else on field... BTW... Remember that Snowpeak Combo... if she happens to be in grave he can grab her back to field as well muhahahahaha. There are just some nasty things that Madolce can do and I don't expect them to top anything anytime soon but if they receive support next set or a good TCG Exclusive they can be majorly powerful... give them a personal Madolce only Rank 3 Xyz... that when destroyed puts the materials back to hand/deck. And has the effect of Chaos Sorcerer... I'd chuckle... especially if it also had the return to deck ability... yum an Xyz that makes itself every turn with Chateau out... lol but no sadly.

REVIEW: Sigh makes the original Geargiano obsolete for this deck. Debris Dragon for Geargia... including other MK-II for instant Rank 3 Xyz Summons... It's best targets are Armor and Arsenal... Imagine this turn 1... Arsenal for Armor... Armor face-down end... opponent sets and ends.. flip Armor grab MK-II summon MK-II grab Arsenal tribute for Armor swing at face-down just because you can... if you kill it swing it a bit more... flip both Armor face-down...  if both Armor survive the turn you win the duel... Armors will grab Accel and MK-II respectively... Normal MK-II and grab Arsenal if MK-II survived.... Overlay Armor and Arsenal for Geargiganto X... Detach for Accel... Special Accel... Overlay with the other Armor for Geargiganto X... Detach for Accel... Special Accel... Overlay both MK-II for No. 20 Gigant Brilliant... Special Accel... Overlay Accels for Geargiganto X OR if they have something gay like Zenmaines on field... Black Corn kills Zenamines... Brilliant boosts all by 300...  2600+2600+2100=7300... Black Corns burn dealt 1000 so that's an overkill of 300 damage lol shit just got real. Anyway this card is a major combo piece and keeps the deck going.

If you control a "Geargia" Monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand into face-up Defense Position. Also, when this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can select 1 "Geargia" Monster other than "Geargiaccel" in your Graveyard and add it to your hand.

REVIEW: Well this is how the above combo works... lol I've said so much about this card without reviewing it. Pretty much if this card is sent from the field to the graveyard you can grab any Geargia from your graveyard that isn't Accel and put it in hand... meaning that oh you destroyed by Accel well now I get back MK-II to hand... You actually rarely get that second effect but it lets you keep your advantage if you need to put it out on field for an Xyz and they Torrential...Flip Armor grab this... special this... they torrential like idiots... add Armor to hand... summon it swing for 1100 set it again chuckle silently... I love this card and I can see it being extremely useful to the Geargia archetype in the long run as a current Geargia deck runs essentially 3 of each Geargia aside from Geargiano most of the time.

This card gains 200 ATK for each "Geargia" Monster you control. Also, by releasing this card, you can Special Summon 1 "Geargia" Monster other than "Geargiarsenal" from your Deck into face-up Defense Position.

REVIEW: Well a 1700 beater on its own... with any other Geargia 1900 and so on... until its 2500 with 5 total Geargia on field... best power lies in its Lonefire ability that cannot be veilered in TCG trollol. It's best use is in grabbing Armor to the field turn 1 consistently (essentially you run 6 armor... 3 duality... its gonna happen every game no matter what). Card is also as explained above very useful with MK-II and retrieveable with Accel... before I learned otherwise it was broken now its just really good. Iron Call still has a use though in making easy Rank 4... Arsenal grab w/e... Iron Call overlay for 4 freely. Geargiganto can then grab you a MK-II lol yugioh... Geargia just shit on advantage and truly show that advantage means absolutely nothing if it isn't actually useable cards... much like Madolce shit on the prospect of actually gaining from destruction lol. I mean honestly drop a Chateau opponent has 3900... Summon Majoleine... Warning... Majoleine returns to hand... one time an opponent used Chain Destruction on Chouxvalier... all the ones from deck were destroyed and then returned to deck lol troll. I also misplayed because Chain Destruction doesn't destroy the monster on field so I actually lost that duel for no reason... all my fault for not remembering to reread cards (unrated so didn't matter) (Well I actually won but lost the second one for the same reason). Anyway back on topic... Arsenal brokezors///

REVIEW: Gravekeeper's Spy that searches and doesn't summon... but can like the old Flip Re-set cards... reset itself every turn... meaning overtime the longer it lives the more advantage you gain... Hell Geargiakeepers may actually be viable if it wasn't for Accel and MK-II wanting to touch the graveyard so bad. Oh hello Gravekeeper's Chief didn't see you there... oh hullo Majoleine didn't see you either... hmm you wanted to join in as well Rites of Spirit and Magical Dimension? Maybe this could work after all lol... would be a clusterfuck of nonsense but would be funny. This card is just nasty and needs no real review I mean honestly... I've reviewed it in every other Geargia monster's review just because of how well the whole archetype meshes together. Anyway I'ma stop here... at card number 10... tomorrow I'll have the Generic monster Reviews.

Uniforia up through Goblin Marauder Squad... Meaning All the most interesting monster in the entire set... all of which are amazing in their own right.
