Maestroke the Symphony Djinn

I never did review the rest of the starter deck back in February lol. Well heres another review courtesy of me.
Maestroke the Symphony Djinn
DARK
Rank 4
Fiend/Effect
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls; change it to face-down Defense Position. If a face-up "Djinn" Xyz Monster you control would be destroyed, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from that monster instead.
1800/2300

Well clearly this card is the Rank 4 Gantetsu/Zenmaines. Just look at it so good... So any two level 4's and I'm rewarded with a 2300 Wall 1800 beater... That doubles as a Tsukuyomi that can live through anything and ensure the survival of any other Djinn monster I may have very very nice effects. The best effect is the fact that it adds majorly to the Rank 4 Toolbox through the Tsukuyomi effect. The survival effect is just major icing on the cake like too much icing. This card is also a DARK so your Monk>Knight>Djinn combo makes DAD guaranteed. It also adds an extra dimension to Hero decks especially Bubblebeat as they can now stall with a DARK wall that can enable their monsters to effectively run over anything in battle they so choose.

The Rank 4 toolbox is a major boon for decks like Geargia, Gadgets, Watts, Bubblebeat, Hero Beat, Light Beat, Rabbit, any deck that likes to spam Rank 4's when avaliable... This card adds something that you could only get from Rank 3 and 2 Xyz options. A wall and unlike Gantetsu it doesn't get weaker every survival... It's a static 2300 like Zenmaines's static 2100... but with Static 2300 comes the power of being bigger than any non-special summoned monster nowadays and if it survives a battle and has a Material left over it can Tsukuyomi that monster and possibly run it over on it's own. So now along with Black Corn if you play a monster with less than 2100 ATK or less than 1800 DEF it is already very vulnerable to nearly unstoppable removal. Black Corn just sends the card effectively stopping any survival effects. While this turns your beater into a coward to be ran over by battle. Along with that Rank 4 has double attackers, Monster immune to Removal and soon it will have two Chaos Xyz Changes. Rank 4's have a lot going for them now. Geargia especially benefit from this toolbox as they have just recently added to the Machine toolbox with Gear-Giganto X allowing one to plus 1 every material and in Gadgets you can now search Gearframes, Karakuri's, Any Level 4 or lower Machine in the entire game. Geargia benefit from this Djinn though more so than they benefit from their own Xyz as they generally have low attack points. This Djinn can flip the opponents monsters making your low attack beaters far stronger than the common low defense beaters. Combine that with this cards survival rating...

BTW Geargia players... Geargiano+Geargiarsenal is a Loop (Baha just informed me that Geargiano and Iron Call both work like Debris Dragon as in I can still tribute but I'd get no effect as it negates that cards effects unless the entire activation is in the graveyard (Like Debris with Dandylion, Iron Call still works with Card Trooper.)... Until otherwise ruled... Geargiano negates the effect on the field... Geargiarsenal tributes itself as a cost to activate it's effect to search any Geargia aside from Geargiarsenal from deck to field... Geargiarsenal gets Geargiano who gets that same Geargiarsenal who gets Geargiano who gets that same Geargiarsenal who gets Geargiano who gets Geargiarsenal who gets Geargiarmor... Iron Call gets Geargiarsenal who gets Geargiarmor... flip both face-down end turn... you just thinned 5 monsters from your deck for 2 cards all of which your opponent couldn't Veiler... Both of those Armors though if they survive until your turn become extremely powerful... Flip both search Geargiaccel and Geargiano MK-II... Summon MK-II revive Geargiano... Special Geargiaccel... Overlay Accel and Armor for Gear-Giganto X... X effect to get Accel... Summon Accel... Overlay Accel and Armor for Gear-Giganto X... X effect to get Ally Genex Birdman... Bounce Geargiano MK-II... Special Birdman... Tribute Geargiano for any Level 4 Geargia in your grave... Make Burei... Burei effect to grab any Karakuri from your deck with 800 or more hopefully more. Swing in for 8000+ damage... I have now made an OTK. It isn't instant but it takes 1 turn of set-up... Ally Genex Birdman only just now I realized is really really good in here... it's a Machine for Gear-Giganto X to search out... and instead of Xyz you can Karakuri Synchro spam... If you were running Karakuri stuff in here I'd run only the Tuners though. Iron Call and all makes the rest sorta meh when you have the Geargia engine as the backbone... (Turn 1 double searchers is disgusting)... Though honestly I would run just 1 Birdman and no Karakuri pieces as you don't want to waste space when your monsters are so weak. And Birdman being searchable is just nuts... If you want to use Birdman at 3 though I don't even know really right now the deck is 15 monsters using only Geargia monsters so if you make some cuts you can fit in a bit more... (They need the backrow as their stats are just low) They are extremely resilient though I've taken a Dark Hole to the face... had 2 Zenmaines (One had no Materials) and 1 Gear-Giganto X and 2 Geargiaccel that I didn't Xyz with... wound up specialling back out Geargiano and added back Geargiano MK-II and Geargiarmor... There you happy with your Geargia review lol... don't worry I'll have even more to say about them when I do the full set review...  (If you don't run Birdman you can still put out nearly 8000 damage on your second turn... Instead of searching Birdman just search Accel... Tribute Geargiano for Geargiarsenal... Special Accel... Overlay for Utopia... 2300+2300+2500+1000 is enough for game (8100 damage brudda)

EDIT: I have crossed out the parts that are incorrect about Geargiano and Geargiarsenal and Iron Call. I'm sorry for the mistake but I personally can't read Japanese so I just went by the English text treating them like Skill Drain. I'll in response to this give a reworked Skeleton for the deck for your perusal tonight if Spitta doesn't show up with a post.

  1. Geargiano works like Debris Dragon, negating the effect entirely even though the english text is kinda misleading.

(I am reading based on the Japanese text lol)

    1. Ah thats fine then I'm actually quite happy about that. No more stupid loops lol. So that'd mean the same for Iron Call? Alright I just checked it myself thank goodness. So this means no retarded loops and no re-using of Arsenal with Iron Call which actually changes things a bit and takes away from a lot of the decks power. I'll work on alternatives thanks Bahamut for clearing that up for me (I had no idea you read this blog lol)
