Galactic Overload Review Number 2

Alright once again this review will be late but due to the banlist confusion and what not as so far there is no legit list yet as Shriek didn't mean to post that possibly fake one. Review is even later due to friends on DN wanting deck help and then rejecting my ideas because it didn't work when I got lucksacked (Piper Monarchs (still isn't a good idea IMO)).

Anyway to the review at hand. Read More Please
First Card:
Hammerrush Bouncer
EARTH
Level 6
Warrior/Effect
If your opponent controls a card(s), and if you control no cards, you can Normal Summon this card without Release. If this card attacks an opponent's monster and you control no Magic or Trap Cards, your opponent cannot activate Magic or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step.
2300/2000

So interesting card is interesting, It's a Normal Summon that's only good if you control absolutely nothing and your opponent has the advantage meaning they probably have something bigger than 2300. This cards main draw though is that it allows for something interesting to happen, as long as you have no backrow your opponent can't do anything about this cards attacks aside from Fiendish Chain. But that doesn't help the fact that this card is just outdated in design... It shouldn't require so much for a weak normal summon of a worse Gadgetjiltron Dragon... It shouldn't require no backrow as Bouncer's love having backrow to use their effects. It should be like Cyber Dragon but a Normal Summon but gets it's effect regardless of your backrow.
NEXT:
Blade Bouncer
EARTH
Level 4
Warrior/Effect
At the end of the Damage Step this card attacked, if your opponent controls a monster, activate by discarding 1 card. During this Battle Phase, this card can attack 1 more time an opponent's monster. This effect can only be used once per turn.
1800/1400

Sigh like the entire Archtype they should all be Beast-Warriors... just look at the dang art... so annoying... This card is nice because it's a smaller Kachi Kochi Dragon and a bigger Asura Priest just eh not that good. It shouldn't even have the cost to discard... Or at least not be llimited to once per turn it's just not good enough for such limitations.

NEXT:
Phantom Bouncer
DARK
Level 6
Warrior/Effect
If this card on the field is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can add 2 "Bouncer" cards from your deck to your hand.
2400/1200

Ok good card is good. It's essentially a sangan that must be destroyed but can only search one of the 4 "Bouncer" cards... and is... Level 6... It's level is useful for Xyz but not for easy summoning. Essentially all the Bouncer cards are Konami saying... It was in the anime let's throw it in the set for no reason and not even make it a real archetype and then throw in extra drawbacks... But this card is good in that it nets you a plus 2 when destroyed... Meaning to summon it is a minus 1... it doesn't give you anything till your opponent destroys it... at best it's an even trade if opponent runs it over in battle... If they waste something on it it becomes a pure plus 1 in terms of card advantage... (Not a big deal but meh)

NEXT:
Phantom Butterfly Assassin Morpho
DARK
Level 4
Warrior/Effect
Activate this effect when an opponent's monster changes its Battle Position by selecting that 1 monster. The selected monster loses 1000 ATK and DEF. This effect can only be used once per turn.
1200/1600

Well underwhelming... It makes your opponent think twice about position changing but... it's just too weak in stats for it to really matter that much... It's a DARK and Warrior so it has some uses along with being Level 4... But eh It's pretty bad due to the fact that people rarely change monster positions unless they were already in Defense and want to go on the offensive... (Normally already on offensive anyway).

NEXT:
Phantom Butterfly Assassin Ageha
DARK
Level 4
Warrior/Effect
Activate this effect when an other monster you control inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points by selecting 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. The selected monster loses ATK equal to the Damage inflicted by that attack.
1800/1200

This is just the better monster between the two Moonlit Papillon targets... I mean this card still isn't that great but it's quite viable as a card... Think about it... Wattgiraffe swings for 1200 making Stardust a 1300... Runs over stardust for 500... It's a nice little tech card in Chaos Watts. It's also interesting as a 1 of in Anti-Meta as it can make your opponents monsters quite weak quite quickly... The only reason this card though is useful is because of the next card.
NEXT:
Moonlit Papillon
LIGHT
Level 4
Insect/Effect
When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Phantom Butterfly Assassin" Monster from your Deck.
1200/1600

This card is quite nice as it's the same as Sangan in terms of activating... meaning Glow-up synchs with this for Librarian... then synchs with Ageha for Catastor... Banish both for BLS-EOTB lol. But this card is quite good when used correctly and can create some nice advantage. Only problem is that it can't grab itself but that would be broken broken broken. Still it's a nice card that works in a variety of situations... tribute it for Caius grab Ageha... Caius and Ageha swing... It can become a Tengu in some situations if used correctly... and makes Chaos quite easy to summon in any deck.
NEXT:
Perforation Heavy Machinery Drill Jumbo
EARTH
Level 4
Machine/Effect
When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, you can increase the Level of all Machine-Type monster you control by 1. When this card attacks a Defense Position monster, and its ATK exceeds that monster's DEF, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points. Also, if this card attacked, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step.
1800/100

Hmm not bad not bad... Makes Offering Gadgets quite interesting giving them a Rank 5 outlet which is major. It also though is a 1800 piercer but it does switch to defense so that's a little meh... So what would be nice is a Machine version of Goblindbergh... Oh wait Tinplate Goldfish... Goldfish>Drill Jumbo>Any Rank 5 aside from Pleadies and Exastag. Good Machine tech is good.
NEXT:
Roaring Express Train Rocket Arrow
EARTH
Level 10
Machine/Effect
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except when you control no cards on your field. During the turn this card is Special Summoned, you cannot perform your Battle Phase. While this card is face-up on your field, you cannot activate the effects of Magic, Trap and Effect Monster Cards, nor set cards. The controller of this card sends his entire hand to the Graveyard during their Standby Phase, or this card is destroyed.
5000/0

So this card at first glance is terrible, second glance terrible, third glance oh magic number Great Maju Garzett... If anyone remembers there was one blog on a my blog roll that reviewed this card a month or two ago... struggles to remember the name and they came up with a way to get a 10000 ATK Great Maju Garzett... First you Special this dumb monster... Tribute it for Garzett... Set everything you can think of... end your turn with a 10000 beater... activate Ring of Destruction for GG 3 card Traditional Instant Tie... or just let that 10000 sit there... if the opponent isn't running Inzektors they have a slim chance to blow Garzett up... But regardless fun combo is hilarious

"Rocket arrow can be used as tribute in monarchs.

and makes an awesome beatstick if you topdeck it with 0 cards.
maybe the solution to wind ups?"
LAST CARD:
Scoop Shooter
LIGHT
Level 4
Warrior/Effect
If this card attacks face-up monster with higher DEF than this card's ATK, skip Damage Calculation and destroy that monster immediately.
1400/1600

Well this card would be really really really good if it worked whenever it battled but sadly it only works when it attacks... But that's still nice... It's essentially Tsukuyomi aside from reusing flip effects. I can imagine teching this in HERO's or a LIGHT Beat deck. Then again in LIGHT Beat I'd also run Wattcobra and Wattgiraffe so I'm a little weird in that respect. So in all this card is just a Catastor that can't stall and simply outright runs over Monsters such as... wow nvm I misread... lol it says Higher DEF not lower DEF... suddenly card becomes nice... It kills Every Synchro/Xyz that isn't Stardust or Hope that happens to have 1401 or More DEF... I now really like this card in something new called Light Warrior Beats Thanks to the new Lightray's not a bad idea at all.

So how did you like today's reviews... If you have your own $0.02 about the cards reviewed in any of these 10 or so reviews please comment and I'll most likely include it (Attributed to you of course, Unless anonymous then well I'll just say view comments to see where).

I accept criticism and I accept praise so please don't be afraid to comment here I try to respond to every comment I receive. And once again thank you for putting up with the lateness.
