Galactic Overload Review 4 Inzektors

Well today was nice DN updated with the new set so I can test things now, lack of new banlist makes me a little sour but meh. I'll do a post reviewing the new banlist after I'm finished the Galactic Overload reviews. I'll be as stated before doing the 2 Evol Monsters, the Inzektor Monsters, and then the Lightrays today.

FIRST CARD:
Evoldo Lagosuchus

Reptile/Effect
When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, you can send 1 "Evoldar" Monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. Also, when this card is flipped face-up, you can Special Summon 1 "Evoldar" Monster from your Deck.

This card is really really good for Evols it's essentially 3 more Westlo... but if the DN text is correct... I doubt it... it's a searcher for Westlo... making it sorta moot... it's first effect sets up Volcano plays though which is really nice. Of course I'm hoping Evols become an actual deck and don't just have their Xyz's used by the evil rabbit of death or the weapon equipped dinosaurs. As it stands from the shriek translation good card is good... normal it to drop anything... Evo-Force for a Vulcano Xyz to Laggia/Dolkka/any Rank 4. If the second effect is the same as Shriek... flip it get Darwinos... have Darwinos change it's level to 5... Overlay for rank 5 Xyz summon.

WOW WOW WOW WOW considering that Solda really isn't useful anymore compared to Photon Streak Bouncer and Number 25. Now Evols can hit rank 5 instead yay for what though Tiras... nah... so hmm nothing really... well thing is this doesn't boost 2 monsters so isn't that good but meh that combo from above is nice I guess... Rank 6 is the new beastness though rank 5 does still get to become Gaia Dragoon so eh.

Also, while this card is equipped to a monster, the equipped monster has its Level increased by 1, and gains ATK and DEF to the ATK and DEF of this card respectively.

According to a source on DN as in a friend I know on DN named Vanathor this card has some uses in an Inzektor deck but is far from necessary. First is it's level making it not that good of an Insect Imitation target then there's it's effect though... It when equipped lets you check every set card your opponent has. Also it boosts the equipped level by 1 and gives it plus 100 to each stat... somewhat useful for access to rank 4 but overshadowed completely by the next card also helped out by Vanathor who has a deck I won't be releasing on here until the banlist is out.

This one as I've been informed by my friend Vanathor is quite despicable in Inzektors... It along with Insect Imitation let you play Dragonfly from the deck and on your turn 1 send it to the grave to make Dragonfly a level 4-5 monster while spamming out any... ANY Inzektor from your deck that isn't Dragonfly... follow it up with a Giga-Gryoll for best results or even a Centipede if you feel like it... to make Centipede a 4 or 5 or you could get Hornet from deck... and overlay for a Leviathan and put Hornet to grave setting up your other in hand Inzektors. As it stands Vanathor is 7-1 with his new GAOV Inzektor build only loss was to my Hieroglyph deck which only won when he drew badly. (Then again we both drew relatively badly... Though I was 1 card from an OTK with Neo-Galaxy Eyes the second game)

Once per turn, you can equip 1 "Inzecter" monster from your hand or Graveyard treated as an Equip Card to this card. While this card is equipped to a monster, the equipped monster gains ATK and DEF equal to the ATK and DEF of this card respectively. Also, when this card equipped to a monster is sent to the Graveyard, the monster this card was equipped to gains 1000 ATK until the End Phase.

This card when equipped makes your Inzektors beaters on it's own and when it hits the grave the ATK boost still applies till end phase quite nice. This card though isn't really useful I mean it's good for Insect Imitation but why would you special a 5 from deck or waste a good 3 to summon this? It's not a bad card but it's just not really useful.

You can remove from play 1 Insect-Type monster in your Graveyard to equip this card as an Equip Card to a "Inzecter" monster you control. This effect of "Inzecter Giga-Gryoll" can only be used once per turn. Also, the ATK of the monster this card treated as Equip card is equipped to becomes 2000. When the equipped monster attacks a Defense Position monster, and its ATK exceeds the DEF of that monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points.

Well well well... at first glance bad card is bad... at second glance oh me oh my Leviair... Think about it... banish a Dragonfly to equip this to well anything... Overlay that monster with anything else or just summon Tour Guide and make Leviair... grab Dragonfly nuke 2-3 cards Overlay for quite nearly any level you want and continue the abuse... This card does a good bit for the archetype including it's level... Insect Imitation makes this a Gigaweevil or Gigamantis doesn't seem like much but eh... All that matter is that this card gives you a free equip from grave which when put on a Dragonfly with a Hornet is evil instant gg most times...

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summon except if you have 3 or more removed from play LIGHT Monster. Once per turn, you can select and return 1 of your removed from play LIGHT Monster to your deck, and remove from play 1 face-up Monster on the field. During the turn this effect was activated, this card cannot attack.
2300/2000

So a full-Nomi chaos sorcerer that can be summoned only if three or more Lights are banished... not bad and rather easy to do in some decks like Agents. Simply put it recycles your banished LIGHTS once per turn in order to banish any face-up monster on the field. And it can't attack when it does that... so disregarding everything I just said... Throw any level 1 tuner at this and just like Chaos Sorcerer it makes Arcanite... but better yet... Overlay 2 of these or 1 of these and a Chaos Sorcerer... Magi Magi Magician Gal!!! And murder the opponent.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except if you have 4 or more LIGHT Monster in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can activate this effect by selecting 2 cards on the field and 1 Field Magic Card. Destroy the selected cards.

Free 2600 beater as long as you have 4 more LIGHT monsters in the grave greatness it's also Level 7 for things like Fabled to Synch with for level 8's... It's also Level 7 for things like Big Eye or Lucky Stripe. It's main use is in a deck like Light Geartown (Something I just made up) or in Light Morphtronic Map synchro (Something I just made up) It also likes Sanctuary Agents because well I mean... pop the field spell and kill any 2 other cards... but best part still is 2600 beater... enough to force a Utopia negate, Kill a Stardust, and such and so forth... Run over a Leviathan ya know...

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except if you have 5 or more different LIGHT Monster in your Graveyard. If all face-up Monster you control are Warrior-Type Monster, you can remove from play 1 Warrior-Type monsters in your Graveyard from play to negate the activation of a Magic or Trap Card and destroy it. This effect can only be used once per turn.

Arguably the most scary of the Lightray's in that yes he's about as hard to summon as Judgment Dragon but his main draw is that he can at the cost of banishing any Warrior in grave to Shi En any Magic or Trap card once per turn... but only if you control nothing but Warriors... hmm... 5 LIGHTS needed to summon him... well then kind sir Light Warrior beatdown is an option... Only hard part is that LIGHT and Warrior don't always mesh together well as there just aren't enough good LIGHT warriors... oh wait we have Alius, Photon Thrasher, Photon Crusher, Blade Knight, Scoop Shooter, Upstart Golden Ninja (OH), Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke (OH), White Ninja (OH)... suddenly everything makes sense... Photon Ninjas go!!! Might work fine ya never know...

LAST CARD:
Lightray Diabolos
LIGHT
Level 7
Dragon/Effect
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned if you have 5 or more different LIGHT Monster in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 LIGHT Monster in your Graveyard to select and look at 1 set card your opponent controls, and to return it either to the top or the bottom of the owner's deck.
2800/1000

So same requirement as Gearfried lower level and less strict but arguably just as good effect... This card essentially can fit in any LIGHT deck but Hieroglyphs like it a ton and so do Chaos Dragons banishing Eclipse is fun. The main draw for this card is that it can look at any set card you opponent controls... be it monster or backrow... and you get to choose whether that monster/backrow is drawn next turn or is never seen again... a 2800 body that murders any attempts to use monsters to defend against it is nice. It's only fear is chainable backrow which can be mitigated by good use of MST or Night Shot (To be reviewed in a few days). Note: Level 7 like Daedalus...

Anyway 14 monsters left to go... splits them into 2 reviews because ugh 10 today made me sick lol. This set has the most Xyz of any other... 10... 10 freaking Xyz... 5 of which love dragons... the other 5 are just greatness aside from the Inzektor one which isn't bad either considering hmm Inzektors can make 5 now trollol.
