EXCEED TRAPS!!!


 These are two of the main exceeds this deck can easily summon one of which is out now in OCG. Tomorrow and for the next few days expect mixes of Decks and Card Reviews. I'm not reviewing these today but if you search the pictures you can find what they do. Today though I am revisiting an old and never quite competitive deck type relegated to neverused status (If we were playing pokemon). Exceeds along with their rulings that make Trap Monsters viable targets for them to be summoned from brings along with it some really interesting things... According to DS's translation Trap Monsters can be used for Exceed Summons... MEANING!!! you can now set 5 Trap Monsters and summon all of them to play both Vairon Disigma and Aspiring King Hope... then you can set 5 more actual traps as those Trap Monsters no longer count as being on the field.

I guess you are wondering what this deck does best... (It's far from finished this is just a pre-finishing finish... As I plan to buy this deck once Exceeds come out in TCG)...

1. The Exceed Combo:
- Gravekeeper Spy when flipped can summon one of my level 4 Gravekeepers meaning instant Exceed... If they both live and I have a trap monster I can summon Disigma with little work or wait.

- If you simply have 2 or more Trap Monsters in your opening hand you can on your next turn summon any level 4 Exceed (My personal favorite for this deck is the Mainspring Exceed monster (Shriek.twoday.net) as it can send an Exceed Material probably a trap to flip something back face-down and then back up at the end phase... meaning it can flip Mask of Darkness back face-down to retrieve the sent Exceed Material Trap Monster.)

2. Uria Is Beastness (Yes The I Needed To Be Capitalized):
- Mid Game after some Exceeds have died off you can Special Summon Uria just by having 3 Trap Monsters (Not hard) and then proceed to beat face.

3. Special Summons are not fun:
-Royal Oppression after I've set up Disigma is game ending as they can no longer special summon to beat over Disigma...


There are many more good points to this deck but I'd love if someone would expand on my idea as I really don't have alot of time... Tomorrow expect a Quillbolt and Plaguespreader with Doppelwarrior and Synchro's Deck... lol
