Unlimited

The new unlimited cards definitely need an article as they are very odd choices. I mean seriously 3 Ultimate Offering? Anyway well see whether my forecasts are correct or not in 2 weeks.

Unlimited:
Chaos Sorcerer
Snipe Hunter
Demise, King of Armageddon
Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier
Gold Sarcophagus
Skill Drain
Ultimate Offering

Chaos Sorcerer: This card has been on the list for many many years and finally is once again free to be used at 3.  With it's easy summoning requirement and great effect expect to see it more often than you used to especially from plant-based decks. I personally can't figure out why it was put at 3 other than it not needing to be semi-limited as it wasn't doing anything to the format at all.

Snipe Hunter: Another card that was limited only due to its power many many years ago when CDIP came out (Also the only really used card in that set). It was simple roll a die and if you are semi-lucky you will get a kill on any card even Stardust Dragon at the cost of 1 or more cards in hand. At the same time some people consistently rolled 1's and 6's like myself so never ran this card. It lost most of it's usability as better less costly cards were produced.

Demise, King of Armageddon: This card created the most ridiculous OTK in terms of what cards you had to use for it (Doom Dozer, Demise, Neo Bug ROFLOLMAO). This card is extremely powerful but due to the nature of ritual summons and the unreliability of the Demise OTK now you are best off running it in a Salvo DAD or something like that.

Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier: This card made a very broken FTK with Frogs but then again so did Trishula and Pot of Avarice and Mass Driver... Sigh Frogs were so unwell designed. This card also could bounce back Swords of Revealing Light or Premature Burial every turn and other such spells and traps. With Substitoad and Premature banned there is no point in keeping this semi-limited so they unlimited it.

Gold Sarcophagus: When first released only a select few Champions had this card now everyone should have 1 or 2 or 3 but it is now way to slow to be useful aside from in decks that don't care much for speed or need the search to set up OTK's and such. At 3 it's not changing anything at all and honestly should have came to 3 two formats ago.

Skill Drain: Card creates entire decks by nullifying effects like Barbaros and your opponents monsters giving you a huge advantage. And now the only way to get rid of it is Space Typhoon and Giant Trunade. Expect to occasionally see a Skill Drain-based deck do well as it actually keeps Sams from winning with Shi En by negating their effects like Kageki. Also though this card was put to 2 due to how much power it gives you over other decks but with only 1 Royal Oppression we needed this card back.

Ultimate Offering: This card is extremely Sacky for Gadgets... At 1 it was no threat and 2 it was slightly a threat at 3 you should expect Gadgets and other such decks to side this in against you to OTK early the next duel so you can't use your sideboarded cards too much to stop them. (I won so many duels with this) Also with Overload Fusion back there are going to be a lot of very dangerous Machine builds and a lot of sacky OTK's.

Tomorrow there will be a return to normalcy thank you for reading my Banlist Evaluation series.
