Emergency Post: New Rules effective March 19th for OCG!!!

So just like the advent of Synchros the advent of Exceeds' comes with a new rule to change the game. When the first Synchro Starter Deck came out Extra Decks were limited to 15 cards and Sidedecks could have anywhere from 0-15 cards while maximum decksize was changed to 60 and minimum stayed at 40. This time around they aren't doing anything to decks but rather utterly destroying our abuse of the priority system. Read the Quote after the jump for badly translated specifics and my views on this sudden change.

Notice of rule changes in effect starting monster ■ □
Thank you for patronage from Yugioh OCG in a play.
Niokima****e Yugioh OCG is like an exciting duel é ‚Keru enjoy our clients,
Have you ever caused a rule change taking into account the balance per card,
This time, I will inform you as follows on the effects of the rule changes because there is a monster start.
◆ ◆ rule change effective date
March 19, 2011 (Sat)
For this rule change, there'll Yugioh OCG "starter deck" on March 19, 2011 release date for like (Saturday) will be applied from.

◆ ◆ Rule Changes
● Before Change
Start the effects of monsters, summoning monsters (special summon summon inverted) that can be invoked when successful.
● After changing
Start the effects of monsters, summoning monsters (special summon summon inverted) at the time you can not activate successfully.
Starting the monster effects are basically ※ unless otherwise specified, the effect that can be activated by the main phase.
When the process is complete, and some effect, the imposition of a particular time in the end it is not one action.
Rule until March 18, 2011 to summon monsters (special summon summon reverse) and can be ordered at the end of exercise in a specific action since March 19, 2011 when the monster in Starting the effect will not trigger the rule change.

so this is basically saying No more calling Priority when you summon a monster.

I see I'm rather late by an entire day if not more on this emergency but it escaped my notice until now. Most of you reading it might already know this information but for the few that don't this is what really happened:

Synchro Summon for Brionac and opponent activates Bottomless Trap Hole... Brionac is removed and you can't use it's effect...

Normal Summon Lonefire Blossom and opponent activates Chain Disappearance... Lonefire Blossom is removed from play and you cannot tribute it in order to search.

Synchro Summon Black Rose Dragon and opponent activates Bottomless Trap Hole... Black Rose Dragon is removed but it's effect activates just like a Monarch would as it doesn't need priority.

In effect this explains Chaos Sorcerer's unlimited status and the limit on Book of Moon... Without priority Chaos Sorcerer is severely weakened and without priority Book of Moon is simply godlike. This also hampers most common Synchro monsters like Brionac and Scrap Dragon or Ancient Fairy even and such and so forth.

Any card that simply says something along the lines of "Once per turn," is affected by this ruling and Bottomless or a similar trap card will stop it before it can activate.
