Morphtronic Staplen

                                      Deformer Staplen (Morphtronic in TCGland)
EARTH
Level 4
Machine/Effect
This card gains the appropriate effect based on its battle position. -Attack Position: While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot select any other monsters as attack targets, and if this card is destroyed by battle, the monster that destroyed it loses 500 ATK.-Defense Position: This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is attacked, select 1 face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls after damage calculation and change it to Defense Position, then this card is changed to Attack Position.
1400/1000

Ah this card right here is EPIC WIN
Alright like last time lets highlight the best parts about this card.

Machine
Level 4
Can stop two attacks while in defense position without being destroyed
Can lock out all attacks with two of these in attack position (Assuming I'm reading it correctly)

Being Machine-type means it can be affected by Double Tool C&D or Break Draw (WHY?) along with a plethora of machine specific support including the obvious Limiter Removal.

Level 4 is where it shines as it can be special summoned by Scopen for a Power Tool Dragon. It also tunes with Lighton for a Tech Genus Hyper Librarian or Ally of Justice Catastor.

When it's in defense position your opponent cannot destroy it by battle without having 3 monsters on the field with that capability. First they run into it and their other monster goes to defense position and finally this goes to Attack Position activating it's Attack Position effect of redirecting all attacks to it. Celfon can protect itself from battle by summoning this or Boarden or Boomboxen meaning there are 3 separate monsters Celfon can summon to stay alive and two of them push for OTK and one is stall. There are also some cool things battle position changing can do for you like Morphtronic Cord on a defense position Staplen means that Staplen when attacked will destroy a set Spell or Trap meaning your opponent as long as they have things set face-down will avoid attacking Staplen but if the other monster is a defense mode Boarden they might have no choice but to end their turn without an attack so you can freely switch Staplens position on your turn.

Being in Attack Position isn't too bad either as Summoning two of them can (If my assumption is correct) lock out any attempts at attacking for your opponent allowing your other morphtronics to build counters or use Cord Shenanigans (Not saying it's a good card).

This highly defensive Morphtronic oddly fits the morphtronic Radion heavy play style (Oh and make sure your opponent knows not to attack face-down monsters while there is a Defense Position Radion on the field (Unless they have Stop Defense). This card will most likely split spots with Slingen in tomorrow's morphtronic builds and I have no doubt this card, Lighton, and Life Stream Dragon can place Morphtronics into Tier 2 for sure. Tomorrow Life Stream Dragon and a Morphtronic Deck.
