Morphtronic Lighton

Deformer Lighton (Morphtronic in TCGland)
LIGHT
Level 1
Machine/Tuner
This card gains the appropriate effect based on its battle position. -Attack Position: While this card is face-up on the field, any effect damage you would take as a result of opposing card effects is taken by your opponent instead. -Defense Position: When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, any Battle Damage you would take during this turn becomes 0.
200/200

This card may single handedly put Deformers up a tier due to many things.
Let me highlight those awesome things for you

LIGHT
Level 1
TUNER
MACHINE
200 ATK
NO EFFECT DAMAGE
WINGED KURIBOH EFFECT AS WELL

The fact that it is LIGHT means that it can be affected by Honest and all other Light support meaning it can be splashed into a Light Machine deck or into Light Deformers.

It's Level 1 status means it is the only suitable tuner to summon Life Stream Dragon which can after a long duel put you back at 4000 but that is an analysis for another day. It also means that Celfon rolling into this becomes a free Formula Synchron and a +1. Then theres the fact that it enables Deformers to summon Hyper Librarian without any outside tech. Finally it can be special summoned with One for One the most broken special summon card in the entire game in my opinion at least making One for One at long last a viable inclusion in Deformers

(Tuner was included with level 1 Status)

The factor of being less than 500 ATK means a few important things.
- Machine Duplication
- Debris (WHY?) (No point but it's possible to put Debris in Deformers)
- Junk Synchron (WHY?) (Same as above)
- Limit Reverse (Ten times better than both above in deck)

Machine Duplication can create massive pluses if you have anything else on the field and considering the card already works well with Boardon and Celfon adding Lighton to the mix just makes it more useful. If you dupe both Celfon and Lighton in the same turn getting 3/2 Celfon and 2/3 Lighton you might just have game if you get lucky rolls.

Debris Dragon can possibly go into the deck (I don't recommend it) as Debris can bring back a few Deformers: Celfon, Lighton, Vacuumen, Boardon, Remoten, Magnen Bar.
I don't really think I need to explain the small petty things Debris can do here best it really can do is... WAIT!!! Debris to Celfon to Duplication......... to OTK (If lucky) Still not worth it and Junk Synchron does it better lol.

Junk Synchron can also possibly fit for most of the same monsters as Debris aside from a few really awesome things they trade off with each other: Cameran, Lighton, Celfon, Vacuumen, Clocken, Magnen Bar.
Let's see what combo's I can think of... Junk Synchron to Clocken or Cameran for Librarian/Catastor/Junk Warrior... Junk Synchron to Celfon to DUPE for ... OTK (If lucky) Mostly not worth it lol. and Debris does it better lol (Like i said trade-off)...

Limit Reverse hits most of what both Junk Synchron and Debris Dragon hit meaning any non Boomboxen, Slingen, Datatron Morphtronic including things like Radion, Scopen, and Videon.

Another great thing about Lighton is that it's Morphtronic's burn counter which isn't much given it's what leads to Life Stream Dragon which is burn's personal Serial Stalker Murderer Killer. It also means though that the damage is reflected so you can summon this and from then on the opponent cannot burn you so it single handedly can stop Chain Burn from playing a card.

Being a non-kuriboh Winged Kuriboh never hurt anyone. There is little to explain about it's defense mode effect aside from the fact that it has to be destroyed by battle. And from then on you take no Battle Damage meaning it can act as a pseudo T.Roar.

Overall this card is great for Morphtronics as it finally gives them non-level 6 and 7 synchro options including the ever powerful Stardust Dragon, the Synchro Tuner Life Stream Dragon (Don't ask me how that makes any sense), and the Synchro Tuner Formula Synchron.

I was going to include a Staplan preview here as well but realized if I did that no one would have fun reading that much of a huge WALL O TEXT and it will have more information than even this preview.
