Testing between all my ideas.

The goal of this testing is to see which of my deck ideas works best in an environment filled with broken stuff (No side decks were used in this). This also follows the advanced format but OCG and TCG borders mean little. WARNING WARNING WARNING:::: SUPER LONGER THAN NORMAL




First match:
Maxxwings vs Maxxlibrary Synchro
Both decks are utilizing the one for one or more draw potential of Maxx C.
Library Synchro hit many bad draws both duels due to having too many cards dependent on graveyard presence while Blackwings gained a rather large early plus from Maxx C and from there had enough outs to most of Libraries plays. 2-0 Maxxwings yay.

Second Match
True Six Samurai vs Lighton Lifestream
Round 1: Six Sams opened with almost nuts... United, 2x Kagemusha, ROTA, MST, Dprison. Ended with Shien and set both MST and Prison. Morphtronics have little choice but to unsafely Space the Dprison and make a Celfon risk play ending in failure. Sams continue their nuts bringing out a second Shien with Kageki and Kagemusha but the Morphtronics used Maxx C to draw two. 8000 to 3100. Morphtronics set Lighton and end. Sams bring out Kageki and Kizan and run over Lighton and end their turn. Morphtronics summon Boomboxen and waste two Double Tools on Shien's effect and tries to Limiter removal for some damage and gets Dprisoned for game.

Round 2: Deformers open well and set two face-down a trap and monster. Sams opened trap heavy but with no summonable monsters. They set two and ended. Morphtronics One for One dropping Boomboxen for Celfon. Special Summons Scopen and flips their set Staplen to summon Power Tool Dragon which gets Bottomlessed but searches out Double Tool. Normal Summons Lighton to tune with Celfon for Formula Synchron and ends. Sams still only have Grandmaster as a monster. they set one and end.

Morphtronics flip their set space typhoon to destroy a back-row Bottomless, summons Boomboxen and gets Torrentialed promptly ending their turn. Sams draw nothing and set again. Morphtronics draw Staplen and set it and end. Sams draw a monster and prepare the assault. They activate two Six sam united and normal summon kagemusha and special summon grandmaster drawing into 4 cards. They declare Grandmasters attack on the facedown and switches Grandmaster to defense position only to be saved by Kagemusha taking the position change. Sams with a hand full of possibilities ends setting one card.

Morphtronics try to even the score by setting a Boarden and switching Staplen to defense with a Double Tool equipped and end. Sams draw greatness and Book of Moon Staplen and follow up with Kageki to Kagemusha to Kizan for a full field and tune for Barkion and Shien. Barkion attacks the facedown Boarden and Grandmaster attacks the Staplen which then switches Shien to defense position. unable to destroy staplen they end. Morphtronics equip Staplen with Power Pickaxe and remove from play a Kageki to gain 500 ATK. Staplen attacks Shien who destroys Grandmaster instead they end. Sams set Dimensional Prison and prepare an assault on Staplen by summoning Kizan who destroys it and loses 500 ATK but a clean 5000 is inflicted by Barkion and Shien and they end. Morphtronics draw and set Lighton end. Sams destroy lighton and end. Morphtronics draw Torrential Tribute and scoop.


Match 3:
Fiend Control vs. Scrap
Round 1: Scraps summon Scrap Beast and set Scrapstorm and end. Fiends play nothing obviously wanting to summon something that requires a direct attack or something. Scraps draw and activate Scrapstorm to get Scrap Chimera and draw a card, they then summon Chimera and tune with Beast to summon Scrap Dragon and attack directly only to run into Gorz. Scraps end their turn. Fiends tribute Gorz to summon Caius and remove Scrap Dragon and attack directly first with Caius who is promptly Book of Moon'd and then with Kaien who gets the damage through but runs into a Gorz herself. 5200 to 5200. They end. Scraps draw and summon Effect Veiler and tune for Scrap Dragon they then special summon Scrap Ortholos which self-destructs for Scrap Chimera back to hand. Scrap Dragon attacks the face-down Caius and crashes his Kaien with the Fiend's Kaien. They set bottomless and end.

Fiends draw into Skull Meister and set Stygian Street Patrol and set bottomless and end. Scraps activate Scrap Dragon destroying Bottomless and the Fiends Bottomless. Scraps summon Scrap Worm and attack directly and getting Battle Fader'd. Scrap Worm is destroyed and returns Scrap Ortholos to hand and scraps end. Fiends draw and tribute Battle Fader for Caius only to have Caius Effect Veilered they end their turn. Scraps draw Scrapyard and search for Beast, then they summon Chimera reviving Worm which gets destroyed for Ortholos and Scrap Dragon activate it's effect destroying Scrap Chimera to destroy Caius. Scrap Dragon destroys the face-down Patrol and Fiend receives a direct attack from Ortholos.

Fiends set Sangan and Book of Moon in preparation for a big play due to the lack of any more Scrap Dragons and end. Scraps summon Scrap Beast and destroy it for Scrap Dragon to destroy the face-down Sangan adding Dark Resonator to Fiends hand and adding Chimera to it's own hand. Scraps attack for what should be game but is stopped by Book of Moon flipping Scrap Dragon face-down only taking 1700 and Scraps ended. 1800-5200. Fiends draw space typhoon and prepare for the turn around. They MST the backrow Bottomless and activate Stygian Street Patrol to special summon Dark Resonator and Normal summon Skull Meister to play Black Highlander King of Divine Punishment who attacks the face-down Scrap Dragon which special summons Scrap Worm. Fiends end.

Scraps draw the Yugi Miracle MONSTER REBORN!!! and destroy Black Highlander with Scrap Dragons effect to win round 1.

Round 2:
Fiends opened summoning Doomcaliber Knight and setting two face-downs. Scraps took their turn well summoning Scrap Worm to attack directly for 500. During the end of the battle phase it died and would have took Doomcal with it save for Book of Moon to protect Doomcaliber. Scraps set 1 and ended and got space typhooned losing a Mirror Force. Fiends drew and summoned Dark Resonator and flipped Doomcal to tune for Black Highlander and Scraps let it happen. Taking 2800 from Highlanders direct attack they summoned Gorz. Fiends set 1 and ended. Scraps decided to crash the token into Black Highlander to make Synchros avaliable. During their Main Phase 2 Scraps tributed Gorz for Scrap Golem and ran into Bottomless and ended with a clear field. Fiends drew and set 1 and ended unable to play anything else. Scraps draw and set 1 monster and end. Fiends draw and set 1 monster and end.

Scraps draw and summon Scrap Golem tributing their face-down Effect Veiler and special summon Scrap Worm and special summon Scrap Ortholos destroying Scrap Worm and get nothing except a Scrap Twin Dragon to the field which then attacks the face-down monster and gets Compulsed and Scraps end. Fiends draw Pot of Duality and see the top three of Skull Meister, Torrential, and Compulsory and add Compulsory to their hand. They tribute their face-down Maxx C for a Vanity's Fiend and attack directly setting Compulse and ending. Scraps drew and set 1 card face-down and ended Vanity's Fiend attacked directly and Scraps activated Forbidden Holy Lance reducing Vanities fiend to 1600 so they only have 1200 left. Fiends set 1 and end their turn as Vanity's Fiend goes back to 2400. Scraps get a bad topdeck and scoop.

Round 3: Scraps Open garbage and set four and end. Fiends open just as badly and set four as well and end.
Scraps draw and can't do anything so end. Fiends draw and can;t do anything so end. Scraps end. Fiends end. Scraps summon Scrap Searcher and plays Scrapstorm drawing Monster Reborn and sending Chimera to the graveyard. They end with no real way to get past the 4 sets. Fiends draw and end. Scraps activate Monster Reborn and get chained to by Vanity's Emptiness which is chained to by Mystical Space Typhoon destroying a back-row Book of Moon which destroyed Vanity's Emptiness but Monster Reborn fizzled. Scraps ended with 2 less traps to worry about. Fiends draw and activate MST destroying a face-down Scrapstorm and setting a Bottomless then they summon Sangan and attack directly. 7000-8000 first damage.

Scraps Draw and end. Fiends set another card face-down and attack directly with Sangan and end. Scraps draw set and end. Fiends draw and attack directly with no opposition. Scraps draw and end on the ropes. Fiends draw and attack. Scraps draw and end discarding Scrap Ortholos. Sangan attacks directly again and I definitely must have build scraps wrong lol. Scraps draw and pray and are answered they would hope as they play One for One and discard they are stopped dead by Royal Oppression they discarded Chaos Hunter (Worthless in the matchup no sidedecks are evil...) Fiends draw and summon Dark Resonator and fearing Bottomless just attack directly instead of tuning and luckily it paid off dealing 2300 damage putting scraps at 700-7200. Fiends ended. Scraps Dark Hole and Fiends search Dark Resonator and Scraps set 1 monster and end. Fiends draw and play Pot of Duality adding Book of Moon to their hand. They summon Dark Resonator and attack the face-down Effect Veiler and end setting 1 card. Scraps draw and their prayers are answered they summon Scrap Beast and are promptly Solemn Warninged and scoop....

Final Match!!!
Maxxlibrary Synchro vs. Lighton Lifestream (WHY? because I like it)

Round 1: Morphtronics get to go first and summon Scopen to special summon Radion to tune for Power Tool Dragon and add Double Tool C&D to hand and equipping it only to end shortly after. Library draws and curses it's luck playing One for One discarding Quickdraw Synchron to summon Glow-up Bulb, it MST's the Double Tool and sets Mirror Force and ends. Power Tool activates and gets Power Pickaxe and equips it. Then Morphtronics summon Morphtronic Celfon which rolls into Celfon which rolls in Scopen which special summons Boomboxen and tunes for Stardust Dragon. Power Tool attacks the Glow-up Bulb and destroys it, Stardust Dragon attacks directly with Celfon for 2600...5400-8000. Main Phase 2 Power Tool removes from play Glow-up Bulb with Power Pickaxe and ends. Library draws and sets Ryko and ends. Morphtronics draw and summon Celfon rolling a three into Boomboxen. Power Tool Dragon attacks the face-down monster and runs into Ryko who is negated by Stardust Dragon allowing no destruction or milling and then Boomboxen attacks directly running into Mirror Force. Morphtronics lose everything but Power Tool Dragon by shedding one equip. they end. Library draws and summons Junk Synchron to tune with Ryko for Tech Genus Hyper Librarian . Library then continued to play Monster Reborn on Scopen and tuned it with the Librarian for Stardust Dragon which ran over Power Tool Dragon for 200. 5400-7800...

Library ended and Morphtronic drew and activate Dark Hole and Library had no choice but to let it happen. Morphtronics summoned Radion and attacked directly for 1800... 5400-1800=3600. They then set 1 card face down and ended. Library drew and Pot of Avariced to draw 2 and set 1 monster and played MST on the back-row another MST. Morphtronics took their turn and summoned Morphtronic Lighton and used Machine Duplication. Radion attacked the face-down and destroyed the Plaguespreader Zombie and then the Lightons attacked for 3000. Main Phase 2 Morphtronics tuned for Tech Genus Hyper Librarian and ended. Library summoned Beast of the Pharaoh and returned Phantom Skyblaster to the top of the deck to special summon Plaguespreader Zombie and tuned for Hyper Librarian giving morphtronics and free draw that they used after Librarian hit the field... Maxx C needing the defense Library brought Beast of the Pharaoh back and let Morphtronics draw. Library attacked Lighton to inflict 2200 damage putting morphtronics at 5700 and ended. Morphtronics drew and summon Boarden in attack mode and swung for game.

Round 2: Library drew and set 1 monster face-down and ended. Morphtronics drew and summoned Boarden and duped it twice in defense mode setting 1 S/T they attacked directly for 500. Library drew and flipped Ryko to destroy the back-row Torrential Tribute milling necessary cards. Library set another monster and ended. Morphtronics summoned Lighton and tuned for Power Tool Dragon adding Double Tool C&D to hand. They then equiped Power Tool Dragon with two Double Tools and attacked the face-down Ryko giving it no effect. Morphtronics ended. Library summons Debris dragon to revive Ryko to special summon Doppel Warrior. Stardust Dragon attacks Power Tool Dragon destroying one of it's Double Tool's and negating the other Double Tool's destruction effect. Library then ended getting back Stardust Dragon and switching Ryko to defense postion.

Morphtronics summoned Scopen and tuned for Brionac with their left over Boarden and discarded Scopen to bounce Stardust Dragon and attack both tokens for 1900 each. 3700-7800. Morphtronics ended. Library drew and discarded Maxx C to fill the grave and then summoned Debris Dragon to revive Ryko and tune for Stardust Dragon who ran over Brionac and then Library used Pot of Avarice returning everything but Doppel Warrior to draw 2 cards and ended.  Morphtronics summoned Morphtronic Lighton and tuned for LIFE STREAM DRAGON!!!! and ran over Stardust Dragon for 400 and they set 1 card and ended. Library drew and set Dandylion and ended. Morphtronic drew and attacked the face-down monster which was a Ryko. Life Stream Dragon yawned and removed a Double Tool to protect himself. Ryko milled greatness and morphtronics ended. Library set Dandylion and ended. Morphtronics drew and used Power Pickaxe and removed from play Spore giving Life Stream Dragon 3300 ATK. They set Morphtronic Staplan and Life Stream Dragon attacked the face-down Dandylion giving Library two tokens.

Library drew and summoned Debris Dragon reviving Dandylion and tuning for Trishula who removed LSD and PTD and ran into Staplen for no effect except putting a Fluff Token to defense and Staplen to ATK. Morphtronics drew and set 1 card face-down then switched Staplen to defense and ended. Library drew and Normal summoned Junk Synchron to revive Doppel Warrior to tune for Black Rose Dragon and then special summoned Quickdraw Synchron to tune with the tokens for Nitro Warrior and activated Black Rose Dragon's second effect removing Dandylion to switch Staplen to Attack mode and promptly running it over with a 2800 ATK Nitro Warrior and then hitting directly with 2700 Trishula and 2400 Black Rose Dragon.

Round 3: Not going to do a play by play just a general overview like the first one... LONGEST BLOG POST EVER!!! Turn 2 through epic shenanigans Library summoned Two Formula Synchrons with Hyper Librarian out drawing 4 and then monster rebornd Dandy for another Librarian drawing a 5th and then Formula and the two tokens for Armory arm drawing 7th. Then the deck just went on a rampage droping a turn 3 Trishula with two Librarian against a Power Tool Dragon and just unfair brokeness. Night
