Alright does anyone remember my Tech Genus Halberd Cannon of Doom post... well ya this card can actually be relevant in Junk Doppel because TCG doesn't have Shooting Quasar Dragon... It has the same requirements it just isn't as broken... But you can negate any one summon as a Quick Effect once per turn... If you bring this out turn 1 Sams lose... Mostly due to the fact that it negates their first summon as you would with Solemn Warning... Once that happens they can no longer use Hand of the Six with Kageki to get rid of it. Actually it murders any deck that needs that turn 1 summon. It just has less Turn 2 usefulness compared to Shooting Quasar but anytime you can summon this you probably could have tuned differently and summoned Red Nova or Shooting Star Dragon so you have 3 different large monsters you can ramp up to. Of course we still need Librarian and a death to Gravekeepers the decks natural bane.
A quick recap: Destroys Sams if played turn 1 normally means GG.
Destroy's Dragunities due to being unable to summon Legionnaire...
Destroy's Hero's due to being unable to summon their 1 monster per turn attrition plays and it having a 4000 body.
Destroy's Machina Gadgets... Unless they have Smashing Ground or Fissure in hand they can no longer summon gadgets or gearframes...
Now on the other hand... Shooting Quasar Dragon is a Once per turn free Divine Wrath/Dark Bribe that can attack a minimum of twice for 4000 and when it is removed from the field (Yep Interdimensional Matter Transporter) you can summon Shooting Star Dragon from the EXTRA DECK!!!!.
It's obvious which card is better but the TCG can at a minimum still have some of the same broken turn 1 plays with Junk Doppel Halberd that the OCG gets with Shooting Quasar Dragon.
