Anyway I have been tinkering with things on DN (Decks of course) and realized that most of the deck ideas I thought of off the top of my head on here are better than the ones I spent time thinking about and testing lol.
But out of the ones I did think about my best is still the deck I'm taking for Regionals which was changed from Gravekeepers to Tengu Synchro Beat a deck I think I invented though it looks a lot like Debris Tengu and Tengu Plant lol.
Penguin!!!!! This deck is far from correct but in DN where there aren't Xyz the deck is forced to suffer to the level of using synchros. Here's a duel with it to show you how it works with Synchro's in a Synchro Cat sorta way,

Ice Barriers are probably the archetype with the coolest artwork to date. This appeal along with the ability to create lock down situations and one-sided skill drains makes it not only an attractive archetype but one that actually has potential. Lets brake down some of the shining stars of the Ice Barrier Archetype.
General Raiho of the Ice Barrier:
This Monster is a force to be reckoned with and in all honesty I'm surprise he hasnt seen play in frognarchs. Making every creature affect cost a discard in addition to other means is nothing to sneeze at and against a topdecking opponent this shuts down all those lucky Cauis/Debris drops. Note that this doesn't effect monsters in the grave.
Strategist of the Ice Barrier
Strategist is a key piece of any Ice barrier deck. His ability allows you to cycle your ice barrier monsters dropping them to the grave for a draw. This should be an obvious inclusion in any Ice Barrier deck.
Lets not forget that Ice barrier monsters have their own Reinforcement of the Army. Medallion of the Ice Barrier lets you search your deck for an Ice Barrier Monster regardless of its level.

Hello fans and followers! I've always been a fan of this blog so I thought I'd contribute and provide another viewpoint and some new ideas. So, just so that no one freaks out I thought I'd introduce myself as well as maybe follow-up with a few ideas of my own. So to get your mouths watering I decided to showcase a fun little spellcaster built. I have a fetish for old cards so this is a deck build around MRD's Witch's Apprentice.
I;ve been tinkering with the new Banish Fish from GENF on Dueling Network and experienced horrendous heartbreak due to the fact that Dueling Network doesn't yet have Xyz summoning even in a limited fashion meaning that most cards from GENF are pointless to even be included in the software due to more than half the set being useless without Xyz. So many times I could have won the duel if I could have Xyz Summoned into Leviael and won with a Tortoise loop. The deck still performed amazingly well with such a horrendous handicap. I'll post a build later on tomorrow or so after exams.
So far in testing Vylon's have had a 30/70 success rate... A bit higher than Gusta (Not Hybrid). I won't release the build until it's near finality. I'm still trying to find the best way to do it that doesn't rely on an OTK to win. I've gotten close with Birdman and Tengu as support in the deck to allow for Ally Genex Synchro's and easy 7's which is the main synchro level for the deck. It's getting there though.
If anyone wants to share a build they have been working on please post it in the comments and I'll include it in an upcoming Vylon post. I'll probably not update this post but rather make a new one later tonight for a different format altogether... the unheard of in YGO Elder Dragon Highlander or EDH (This is completely fan made by my brother and completely unofficial. But it's actually not a bad idea)
I'll give a brief overview of the rules: (We tested in Dueling Network so the Max was 60 we planned on it being 70 Minimum as 60 minimum is too few)
1. Both players must have a minimum of a 70 card deck (On dueling network or other such things with a maximum limit change it to 60)
2. Both players have 15000 life points
3. There is no Banlist
4. You can only run 1 of each card
5. Along with your Extra Deck you have a General.
5a. The General can be any Non-Effect Fusion Monster
5b. You can Special Summon the General once per turn only during your Main Phases by paying 500 Life Points for every Level the General has.
5c. The General determines what monster types you can run in the deck through it's Fusion Materials.
5c1. Say I have Sanwitch as my General... that would mean I can only run Fiends and/or Spellcasters in the deck.
5d. If a General is removed from the field by any means it simply returns to the Extra Deck (But it won't stop costs such as Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon so you can remove a Dragon General for Red-Eyes and the General will still return to the Extra Deck (It isn't supposed to take a slot in the Extra but on Dueling Network it has too)
There may be other rules but my brother may post a comment at some point about it to clear up what I may have missed. If you want get some friends to try it out on Dueling Network or in real life it could be plenty fun and give you something to do with your extra cards that normally have no purpose.
This post will have a deck added to it later tonight. but right now... I must admit... I just in one turn... Shooting Star, Librarian, Stardust, Black Rose, Laval The Greater... with one more reknindling left in hand...
thanks to Librarian and Formula I drew into One for One and Monster Reborn and Laval Burner. Thanks to Laval Volcano Lady I was able to set up my graveyard for rediculousness and thanks to a top-deck of Foolish I was able to send Dandylion after a nice Ryko Mill... I also thanks to Doppelwarrior after Rekindling got some craziness going. The deck is scary it needs a bit more work on consistency but so far It's only lost once really and that was too X-Sabers as I drew no monsters at all aside from slow cards that I no longer run.
So that means in testing... Gemknights, Laval, Gishki Hero so far are all really good. Gusta hasn't got much testing time in so I'm gonna test that a bit more soon. No matter what I do to Gusta it just sorta fails... I took out all the Gusta tuners because they aren't needed for Gusta Synchro Summons and replaced them with Psychic tuners... So it looks more like the psychic deck... but at the same time it still just sorta sucks... Will try one more variation but so far it seems like it will not be able to have a hope at winning.
So I tested my Gem-Knight deck I made a few posts back... I edited it to include 2 Supervise and 2 Dark Factory and some other fun stuff... Now it's godlike... It beat Light Gemini losing 150 life... will finish post later on when I finish the build.

It's been testing well and it gets pretty good field presense really cheaply. Gemini Spark gives it a sense of control and evasion (Same with Pyroxene Fusion).
Try it out on Dueling Network or with proxies please you'll definitely like it. Ritua Hero is also running really smoothly and it hasn't lost a duel yet (Gusta needs further testing). Lavals will be built sometime soon.
today though I ordered 1 box each of HA03 and HA04...
And bought 2 Effect Veilers so I'm basically done with stuff like that for awhile... I'll do the Super Star Mira review later.
I was on DN testing some GK tech choices like Mind Crush and Malevolent Catastrophe and Magic Drain...
Playing against Jurracs... He fossil digs... I Mind Crush his Jurrac Dino... I tell him to show his hand to verify... He says he doesn't have to... I further explain that like Royal Tribute you have to show... He says no "2 different rulings" I tell him brb and check the ruling... This is what I find from the Wikia.
If the maximum legally allowed number of copies of the declared card cannot be verified as public knowledge, you may ask your opponent to verify their hand.[4]
This makes the following Judge List ruling invalid:
If the opponent discards the named card, you do not check their hand to verify.[1
Meaning that because Jurrac Dino is at 3... He should show his hand... I come back to tell him this (Note only 30 seconds have passed...) He's like "not waiting around, find someone else to cheat" and leaves...
I'm like what type of douche adamantly argues his incorrect point and then when I go to confirm who's right or wrong just leaves... (He had 2 other cards in hand and one could easily be Jurrac Dino as only 1 Jurrac Dino was in the graveyard meaning there is 1 more in his deck...)
So yeah anyone wants Mind Crush to go to 3? I DO!!!! lol (Seriously don't do that hand control was scary... it's even more scary now with all the set cards leading to nearly empty hands and obvious plays (I literally have a bad habit of calling my opponent's plays before they make them lol (And I'm right for the most part lol))

First Duel... I used Wonder Wand Budget Keepers... I got a lucky victory thanks to a random Mirror Force.
Second Duel I used Junk Doppel... I got nuked bad it was pretty painful actually lol.
Third Duel I used Junk Doppel... I almost came back but she had a monster left so got in a free attack... then I top-deck Chaos Sorcerer when I only had 2 monsters in grave and DAD in hand with one Dark... so I lost...
in otherwords... I got pwnt in our match... But she's so pretty that may have blinded me to the correct plays... lol
EDIT: By the way!!!! That was the best date I've ever went on lol all the other ones before actually cost money lol
Ultimate Offering has some interesting tid bits about it... first off the thing many people don't know is that... It can activate during a chain... It also seems to be able to activate multiple times during a chain. Check the Wikia to see the rulings as they aren't on the actual site... The card is also really great in Offering Gadgets... turn 2... 4 Exceeds or turn 2 5 gadgets and Limiter... so many choices. The deck has tons of OTK possibility with triple Offering but at the same time can do all the standard Gadget tricks... It has potential to be a rather nice deck. Ultimate Offering is in general a good card and makes Exceeds even easier to summon. Expect to see it pop up a little more often.

The most important combo in the deck is Vision Ritua, Shadow Ritua, Salvage=Thin your deck for 2... Salvage back what you just dropped... thin for 1... Ritual Summon... When the Ritual hits the grave you can activate the Water Mirror in grave to put it back in deck and the monster back in hand.

The deck can instantly Ritual Summon for what is basically free which is always nice. The deck also recycles it's Ritual Materials, Ritual Spells, and Ritual Monsters... Almost the entire monster line-up can be recycled along with the Ritual Spells with ease. If someone would take the time to proxy this and try it out I'd be happy.

I've been testing my new side deck for Gravekeepers. D.Fissure is a god send in some matchups... Chain Disappearance is a better Trap Hole lol. There are alot of fun things King Tiger Wanghu does this format... He murders any attempt at a set up by Junk Doppel... it murders Sams Shi-En starting play. My side-deck is actually heavily Six Sam/Chaos oriented. I only own 1 Rai-Oh and 1 Effect Veiler and those are in Junk Doppel.
I'm going to be conducting my first YGO Training Session this weekend and it will be Overnight due to the fact that we have until June 5th lol. I'll most likely be running Gravekeepers. I right now only have 3 tier 1 or 1.5 decks ready right now and my friends only have 2 Tier 1 or 1.5 decks in total between the 6 of them lol.
Notice my absolute lack of actual information regarding the game and more of my own personal thoughts about the game? Well thats because I don't have anything new right now well actually I can easily make a Ritua deck if you want lol you'll see why I lol'ed soon and you'll also understand why they don't suck. So that means a double post today.

I test hands at home and get more than playable hands to god hands every time... I test play against my own decks and get semi-playable to playable hands... I test play against friends and draw complete shit everytime?!?!?!
I can't afford the deck fully kay?gosh! I haven't had a chance to test it yet as I just built it a few hours ago but it beasted my Morphtronics 2-1 and then 2-0. Those same morphtronics could have made it past round 3 at locals if I remembered to Compulsory Evacuation Device on the Scopen of mine that he Monster Reborn'd... Sigh Black Rose Dragon in GHOST!!! I can't believe I forgot to compulse my own Scopen so he couldn't tune with his Firedog... which ultimately cost me the game because that was his only out to Power Tool and Double Tool... sigh ah well. Next week I might try the Junk Doppel or Gravekeepers again.

I have a Glow-up Bulb in the mail as well as a Halberd Cannon and Doppelwarrior and some Divine Wraths. Things are looking up aside from me being mostly poor now lol.
I see a Naturia Beast no one bid on for 6... I bid thinking no one will notice it... yeah they noticed... so thats out. now im trying to ninja a bureido and 3 doppelwarrior... I just bought glow-up bulb and halberd cannon... I'm now poor. Who wants to hope my kind parents can buy me 1 renewal to Shonen Jump and 1 Subscription so I could get 2 Hyper Librarian... without using my own money as I need said money for locals saturday for the rest of the month lol... Then I need to apply for jobs too... so much work... On an up note my Incomplete Extra Deck Karakuri's are beasting so far... They are very consistent... I'll have a finalized build if I can find the rest of my Inashichis lol... Oh and Ninishi is godlike my goodness... Karakuri Anatomy is also godlike... Nanashiku's card draws with Ninishi are beastly... and Safe Zone is hilarious lol.
Atleast how i build it... Oh and Double Tool C&D is broke as crap... Swing over Tengu... No search... Swing over Spy no search... Oh did I mention a Staplen equipped with Double Tool is broke as shit... Now not only will they not swing without 3 monsters due to it being worthless but they also have to lose a monster in the process. There are alot of fun Morphtronic set-ups as well... Boardon and Staplen in defense with Double-Tool is evil... Your opponent if they attack must attack Staplen... lose a monster... and still be unable to kill said Staplen... The deck though is pretty weak to 1 for 1 destruction cards like Smashing Ground or things like Dimensional Prison or Compulsory Evacuation Device. I'm still trying to find ways around that... I would like to include 1 or 2 Divine Wrath but can't find the room when Morphtronic Bind is so helpful.

EDIT: Double Tool was eratta'd and I didn't notice... So it only affects the things that apply on the field... Which is mostly pointless. But it's still a great card so thats not too bad...
Alright does anyone remember my Tech Genus Halberd Cannon of Doom post... well ya this card can actually be relevant in Junk Doppel because TCG doesn't have Shooting Quasar Dragon... It has the same requirements it just isn't as broken... But you can negate any one summon as a Quick Effect once per turn... If you bring this out turn 1 Sams lose... Mostly due to the fact that it negates their first summon as you would with Solemn Warning... Once that happens they can no longer use Hand of the Six with Kageki to get rid of it. Actually it murders any deck that needs that turn 1 summon. It just has less Turn 2 usefulness compared to Shooting Quasar but anytime you can summon this you probably could have tuned differently and summoned Red Nova or Shooting Star Dragon so you have 3 different large monsters you can ramp up to. Of course we still need Librarian and a death to Gravekeepers the decks natural bane.
A quick recap: Destroys Sams if played turn 1 normally means GG.
Destroy's Dragunities due to being unable to summon Legionnaire...
Destroy's Hero's due to being unable to summon their 1 monster per turn attrition plays and it having a 4000 body.
Destroy's Machina Gadgets... Unless they have Smashing Ground or Fissure in hand they can no longer summon gadgets or gearframes...
Now on the other hand... Shooting Quasar Dragon is a Once per turn free Divine Wrath/Dark Bribe that can attack a minimum of twice for 4000 and when it is removed from the field (Yep Interdimensional Matter Transporter) you can summon Shooting Star Dragon from the EXTRA DECK!!!!.
It's obvious which card is better but the TCG can at a minimum still have some of the same broken turn 1 plays with Junk Doppel Halberd that the OCG gets with Shooting Quasar Dragon.

Tribute Cleric for Doctor Cranium and tune for T.G Blade Blaster... Limit Reverse Cleric drop Dandylion remove Mind Master... sac Cleric for Quickdraw tune for Drill Warrior and T.G Recipro Dragonfly... Tribute T.G. Blade Blaster for Thought Ruler and Formula... Tune for Shooting Quasar Dragon/T.G. Halberd Cannon and win the duel? I don't have said Halberd Cannon so the deck is weaker than it should be (Nor can I find my Magical Androids) and Librarian isn't out yet and I don't have it...
